The tooling uses a mounting plate common to both the scroll max ATAR 305 and the twist max ATRC 18 tooling.
The scroll max ATAR 305 is a two-stage scroll former with a counter bend slide support assembly which mounts on the lower left machine shaft.
The two-stage former operates via a lever mounted on the counter bending guide.
This scroll system will operate with the machine head oriented in both vertical and horizontal positions.
When working with long flat stock, the until operates best with the machine in the horizontal position, as the bar stock can be easily supported and remains parallel to the floor.
